Oppo Enco M32 Neckband earphones Price & Availability

Oppo Enco M32 will be available for a price of Rs. 1799 in India. It will come in a single black color variant.

Oppo Enco M32 Design & Features

The design of the Oppo Enco M32 Neckband is quite similar to Oppo Enco M31. It has an ergonomic design which makes it comfortable to wear. It weighs just 26.8 grams which makes it literally as light as feather. At times you don’t even realize that you are wearing anything in their ears. It has a fresh earbud shape, which is different from its predecessor. The new earbud shape comes with an extended fin that makes its into-the-ear grip very comfortable and sustainable. When not in use, the earbuds snap into each other magnetically, which makes them extremely lightweight and easy to carry while you are traveling. The black color variant I received looks basic with no extraordinary design features. It has an ear wing design which makes it comfortable and sensitive to the ear’s skin. ALSO READ: Samsung Galaxy A52s Review The Oppo Enco M32 wireless neckbands are designed with an independent sound cavity that claims to give good sound quality by providing a larger sound field. The design is such that the sound was not interrupted even when there was a strong wind blowing around me. There is a liquid silicone rubber neckband that feels comfortable and friendly to my skin.  and the fit of the earbuds can be adjusted with the help of 3 ear tips available. The oval-shaped in-ears fit neatly without any discomfort and surprisingly didn’t even move while I took a brisk walk. Thankfully, they are IP55 dust and water-resistant which is a relief as it made rough and tough use easier. Drizzle or dew did not harm them. Just one thing needs to be kept in mind when you are not using them, don’t leave earbuds separately hanging around your neck. Otherwise, they get connected to the source on their own and drain the battery, even if you aren’t using them. There is no case or pouch with the device so make sure you keep them around your neck, otherwise, they might drop out of your pocket and you won’t even realize.

OPPO Enco M32 review: Controls

The Enco M32 controls are in an awkward place, and it did take me some time to get used to them, which was a negative point for me. The indentations helped as I could feel + and – signs and press them when needed, but it isn’t convenient at all. It has volume control keys and a multifunctional button that can be used to pause/play tracks, answer/calls and switch between Balanced and Bass mode. I could go to the next track by long-pressing the volume up button and it was as convenient as triple tapping. There’s quick connection support with Oppo Color OS 11.0+ devices, but since I don’t own any Oppo devices, I couldn’t test this feature. The Type-C USB port is placed on the right battery module with a tiny LED which glows red when low on battery and green otherwise. The magnetic tips at the back of the earbuds act automatically. The song paused, as soon as I pulled them out of my ears and they got attached hanging around my neck.

Oppo Enco M32 Neckband Performance

The performance of Oppo Enco M32 is decent while basic use, but when I used it for days continuously playing different kinds of music and experiencing it in different situations, I realized that it lags in loudness. They are not as loud as some other bands I have used. I am someone who prefers 40% volume at max but here I had to push the volume up to 80% for an audible experience. It worked for me because the sound doesn’t crack even on higher volume levels. The sound quality is ok and the punch of the beats could be felt. The bass in the songs like ‘Believer’ and ‘Mann Bhareya’ hits the chords well and the best part is that all the other frequencies are given equal importance, which made the listening experience worth it. The beats in ‘Cheap thrills’ made me groove while ‘Arcade’ calmed my mind and body after a tiring day. The mids in songs like ‘Raataan Lambiyaan’ and ‘Baliye Re’ (Jersey) are crisp with clarity in vocals and good instrument separation. This is a rarity in wireless earphones in this price range. The highs in ‘Mere Yaara’ are sharp and an ok sound stage could be felt while listening to ‘Watermelon sugar’. The bass is mellow and deep and gives a vibrant listening experience. The treble is soft in songs like ‘Stereo Hearts’. In short, the Oppo Enco M32 Neckband provided me with a wholesome listening experience. It supports Bluetooth 5.0 and enables a 10m connection radius with the stable transmission which I feel is less. Oppo Enco M32 doesn’t come with LDAC support which makes the sound quality lower and lousy. There is no App support, which is also a downside.

Oppo Enco M32 Neckband Call Quality

The call quality is impressive as the person on the line was audible and my voice too reached him/her. The voice neither cracked nor felt too loud and on occasions, it was at an audible level. Noise cancellation is decent as ambient noise is not audible to others. When I had to use the neckband to answer calls, it could be done by a simple click and long-press operations. For instance, you can long-press to reject the call. The OPPO Enco M32 wireless neckband also supports dual-device quick switching- Press and hold “Volume +” and “Volume -” for 2 seconds to automatically switch to the last connected Bluetooth device and easily switch between PC and smartphones as well.

Oppo Enco M32 Neckband Battery and Charging

Oppo has made battery life and charging the core selling point for the M32 neckband because the device comes with a 220mAh battery which is said to give 28 hours of unlimited music playback. Moreover, it says charging for 10 minutes can give up to 20 hours of music playback. ALSO READ: Huawei Freebuds 4i Review: An affordable TWS device for all your needs In practicality, the claims are not completely true. The Neckband’s battery lasted for 5 days when I used them for around 5 hours daily, which means 25 hours of playback on one charge. This makes it favorable for those traveling as one often doesn’t get much time to charge the device while on the go. Once I plugged it in for 10 minutes and it still lasted for a few days, which means around 15-16 hours. Also, the time taken to fully charge the device is around 42-45 minutes which is more than what Oppo is claiming. All this was when I played music at around 70 to 80% volume levels. USB Type C charger comes in the box for charging.

Review verdict: Should you buy OPPO Enco M32?

So, if you are looking for good sound quality and call quality neckband earphones with basic looks and affordable price, then Oppo Enco M32 Neckband can be your pick. They have 3 sizes of ear tips, automatic play/pause detection, and good battery life. The only problem you will encounter is if you want loud sounds or control buttons at a convenient place.
