Google had confirmed in August that the Pixel 6 series would feature a proprietary chipset, dubbed Tensor. Powered by the Tensor chipset, the Google Pixel 6 smartphone appears to have improved AI and ML abilities. As well as improving the smartphone’s camera features, it will also improve speech recognition, among other features, thanks to the Tensor chip. Each of the smartphone models among the Pixel 6 series has a camera bar running the length of the device. As for the Pixel 6 vanilla, it will only have dual rear cameras (without the telephoto lens) whereas the Pixel 6 Pro comes with a triple rear camera setup. In addition to the new Titan M2 chip, Google has deployed the new four-year-old Titan M4 chip. The site promises the Pixel 6 Pro will deliver a “long-lasting” battery without specifying the exact capacity. The company also promises the same features as the regular Pixel 6. A punch-hole display is said to be part of the design of Pixel 6’s 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. Displays on the device will offer a 120Hz refresh rate, and Android 12 OS will be installed by default. As for optics, Pixel 6 may have a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, there may be an 8-megapixel camera. Alternatively, the Pixel 6 Pro may feature a 6.71-inch Quad HD+ OLED display with curved edges and a 120Hz refresh rate. According to a report by Reuters, it has a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens, 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and 48-megapixel telephoto lens. The smartphone may also come with a 12-megapixel selfie camera. The upcoming Google Pixel 6 will reportedly support 33W fast charging technology with the power bricks inside the box. The Google Pixel 6 series was announced earlier this month to be available initially in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Additionally, the new Android devices will not reach popular smartphone hubs, such as India, China, the Middle East, and other European countries – at least at first.
